01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Bucharest on Calea Victoriei, Sanki RamenBar is a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine. This cozy, family-run ramen bar offers an intimate dining experience where every bowl is a heartfelt celebration of rich, comforting flavors and masterful craftsmanship.

At Sanki RamenBar, the menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring a diverse selection of starters, sando sandwiches, and, of course, their standout ramen bowls. Begin your meal with delights like the crispy and flavorful Katsu Sando Porc or the succulent Katsu Sando Creveți, perfectly complemented by golden Corn Balls or the addictive Pui Karaage. Each appetizer is crafted to lure you in with crunchy textures and umami-rich tastes that tease the palate.

But the true highlight is their ramen—rich, hearty, and perfectly balanced. Customers rave about the Tan Tan Ramen, a standout dish that offers silky noodles swimming in a spicy, aromatic broth layered with complex flavors. Whether you choose pork or chicken, every bowl comes adorned with marinated eggs that add a satisfying depth, creating a harmony of tastes that lingers long after the last spoonful.

The ambiance at Sanki RamenBar is vibrant yet cozy, nestled in the bustling center of Bucharest. While some guests note the lively music backdrop, it enhances the dynamic, urban energy that infuses the space. The attentive and friendly service makes you feel welcomed and cared for, embodying the warmth of a small family-owned eatery. Given the limited seating, making a reservation is highly recommended to ensure you get a spot to indulge in their culinary offerings.

To round off your meal, consider pairing your ramen with a refreshing beverage from their thoughtfully selected drinks menu. A glass of white or red wine, a crisp Prosecco, or a cold beer like Heineken complements the bold flavors beautifully. For cocktail enthusiasts, the Asian-inspired Don Papa Negroni comes highly recommended—a perfect blend that elevates the dining experience.

In essence, Sanki RamenBar is more than just a place to eat—it’s a genuine Japanese dining experience in Bucharest that invites you to savor each bite, feel the warmth of good service, and enjoy an authentic taste journey. Whether you are a ramen aficionado or a curious foodie, this gem promises to satisfy your cravings and leave you eager for your next visit.

The ramen is one of the best you can get in Bucharest, with a special note for the Tan Tan Ramen, that was the best we ever tried. Special mention for the starters that went amazing with the Don Papa Negroni.

Nice atmosphere in the center of Bucharest (maybe the music is a little bit loud, but this maybe) The service is good and the food is spot-on. We will definitely come back to try more ramen and cocktails. Thank you!

Friendly service and hearty ramen bowls in one of the coziest family-run restaurants in Bucharest. The marinated eggs add depth to the ramen soup, which is flavorful without overpowering ingredients. It is a pop-up event, therefore reservation-based. There are different ramen styles, so probably won't meet all tastes and expectations, but do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and try it out!

Very good tasty pork ramen. My one star deduction is because they only have online menu (you have to scan a qr-code to access it) no other printed menu.

High quality ingredients, home made bread and noodles, which is very rare. Most delicious dishes I ate lately in the center of Bucharest. Also great music and atmosphere.

I’m happy that the ramen movement in Bucharest is growing stronger and stronger. This place is one of the top few places to have Japanese ramen as it should be. I like the bowl's elements. It's not the most authentic, but it is surely delicious. Amazing drinks are the plus. The only critique that I have is that the spoon for the soup could be bigger so it not keep falling in the bowl. And the shoyu eggs could be less salty. Overall, great experience!

I went to Sanki on Calea Victoriei with my girlfriend, and it was an amazing experience! We had the ramen, and it was a solid 10/10 — rich broth, perfectly balanced flavors, and super fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Asian food or wants to try some of the best ramen in Bucharest. We’ll definitely be coming back!
